Feel free to ask, we’re happy to answer. At Hotel Mediterraneo, we like our guests to have total peace of mind, so we've prepared a list of answers to any questions that might spring to mind, and perhaps even those that don't!

Hotel Mediterraneo Chioggia
Check-in is from 2pm to 10pm; check-out is from 7am to 11am. If you think you might arrive earlier and need to get straight into your room, you can make a reservation for the previous night too. If you'd like to leave later, book an additional night so that you can have access to your room until the moment you leave. If the room is not available, we will store your bags free of charge, both upon departure and arrival. If you haven’t booked using this method, early check-in and late check-out will be allowed depending on last-minute availability, with a surcharge equal to 50% of the cost of the overnight stay. All services will cease at the time of check-out, including availability of parking space.
The breakfast buffet is available from 7.30 to 11.00 and includes homemade cakes, biscuits, bread and focaccia.

The reception is open 24 hours a day.
Our breakfast room has products suitable for people with celiac disease or those suffering from intolerances or allergies. We kindly ask to communicate this during the booking process, so as to notify our staff promptly.
We always welcome animals. Here are some services:
  • A welcome kit that you can find directly in your room
  • Possibility of access to the breakfast room
  • For any damage to things or people, the responsibility of the animal is the owner. The number of animals is limited, to ensure a high quality service.
  • The service has a cost of € 15.00 (per dog) per night.
  • It is mandatory to keep the animals always on a leash and agree with the reception a time when daily cleaning can be carried out
  • A few steps from our structure you will find "Astoria Dog Beach", a well-equipped beach where 4-legged friends are pampered
L’ Hotel Mediterraneo has several rooms equipped for the disabled, equipped with a grabber, shower and calibrated sanitary ware. The entire hotel and all services are also accessible by wheelchair. In case of special needs, we ask to notify the Reception during the booking process and a customer inspection is preferable.
We have two parking spaces: the first is located in front of the property and is not covered. The cost is € 15.00 per night.
Once these places are sold out, you can leave your car at the parking lot with which we collaborate at 300m the cost of which is € 10.00 per night.
The availability of parking is to be checked on site upon arrival, advance booking is not possible.
The parking space for our guests is always guaranteed from the moment of their arrival and must be vacated within the checkout time.
The beach is located 300 meters from the hotel. We do not have a beach service, but, by asking at the reception, you can receive all the information and advice on the beaches and bathing sites near the hotel.
All rooms have a fridge bar. For some types of rooms, drinks are already included, while for others the service is available for a supplement.
We want you to start your day with a smile!
For this reason, your reservation also includes a buffet breakfast, served from 7:30 to 11:00 on the first floor.
We are keen to maintain a pleasant environment for all guests, both those staying with you and those who come after: therefore, smoking is prohibited in the room and on the balcony of the room.
WARNING: In case of transgression, there is a penalty of €200.00 on the cost of the stay..
But, as relaxation experts, we also know that a cigarette break is essential; therefore, we have set up a smoking area outside.
We have an internal laundry service for a fee. Ask at reception.
This service is included in some rooms. For other types of accommodation, towels are charged (cost € 8.00). If you want to change the dirty towels, at the reception we will deliver you clean towels at a cost of € 8.00 each.
Yes, you can connect with our Wi-Fi throughout the hotel. At check-in you will be provided with the password to access our Wi-Fi.
We accept payments by cash, cheque, and all major credit cards (Visa, Visa Electron, Mastercard) and EFTPOS.
For online reservations made on our site, you need the credit card number and its expiration date, only as a guarantee. No sums will be withdrawn until the moment of departure, except in cases of no-show or early departure without justified reason. We reserve the right to check the validity of your credit card. In case of errors, missing or invalid data, the reservation will not be validated.
If the reservation was made online in our site, immediately after completing the booking process, you will receive a confirmation email with your stay data.
You can cancel your reservation up to 3 days before arrival. Different cancellation policies may be indicated for high season periods, special promos or for bookings from other portals. Always check the email confirming your reservation.
We admit, we are not a Family Hotel, but we try to come against all needs. We ask to be informed of the presence of children in a timely manner, so that we can prepare your stay in the best possible way!
Bike and ebikes rental service is available for a surcharge. Having a limited number of bicycles, booking is recommended. In case of neglect by the host, we will be forced to withhold the cost of any damage.
A cool cocktail at sunset, a tasty aperitif with a breathtaking view: the Med rooftop is the one for you.
The lift opens the doors in front of a priceless view of the city of Chioggia and the beach of Sottomarina and introduces you to a special place where you can spend a few hours chatting, good music and sparkling cocktails.
The Med rooftop is also open to non-residents in the hotel seasonally. Access can be denied in case of high turnout or private events and in case of bad weather.
All items forgotten in the facility by guests are catalogued and kept for 30 days. The request for shipment of the items is possible within this time frame, for requests beyond this deadline the hotel does not answer for forgotten and/or lost items. Shipping costs are paid by the customer.
