Feel free to ask, we’re happy to answer. At Hotel Mediterraneo, we like our guests to have total peace of mind, so we've prepared a list of answers to any questions that might spring to mind, and perhaps even those that don't!

Hotel Mediterraneo Chioggia
Check-in is from 2pm to 10pm; check-out is from 7am to 11am. If you think you might arrive earlier and need to get straight into your room, you can make a reservation for the previous night too. If you'd like to leave later, book an additional night so that you can have access to your room until the moment you leave. If the room is not available, we will store your bags free of charge, both upon departure and arrival. If you haven’t booked using this method, early check-in and late check-out will be allowed depending on last-minute availability, with a surcharge equal to 50% of the cost of the overnight stay. All services will cease at the time of check-out.
Breakfast is served from 7.30 and includes homemade cakes, biscuits, bread and cakes.

For a quick and tasty break at our lounge you can have a Light Lunch, with many delicious proposals and read for those staying in Full Board.

Dinner, however, will be served at our restaurant "Il Saporoso" on the first floor with à la carte menu until 22:00.
Reception is open every day from 7am until midnight.
Our chefs cook delicious gluten-free meals for those who suffer from food intolerances and allergies (for a surcharge). We kindly ask that you book this service in advance. We are available to prepare delicious meals according to your needs.
Of course, we love animals. Here they are always welcome. Just follow some simple rules: they can access the room and the lobby, but they can not enter the dining room. When a guest leaves, the room that has hosted one or more animals is treated with a particular wash, so as to ensure maximum hygiene. In the event of damage to property or persons, the responsibility of the animal shall lie with the owner. The number of your furry friends is limited, to ensure all guests a serene stay. The service costs € 10.00 (per dog) per day, for the period from 15/05 to 15/09 the cost is € 20.00 (per dog) per day. Please keep your dogs on a leash.
The Smart Hotel Mediterraneo has some rooms equipped for the disabled, with grab bar, special shower and shower. The entire hotel and all the services are also accessible by wheelchair. In case of special needs, a visit of the customer is preferable.
We have a small internal parking and a car park, about 300 meters from our hotel. The cost of this service is € 7 (per day). It is possible to access the outdoor parking H24 while the indoor one is closed from midnight to 6.30 am.
The beach is located 300 meters from the hotel and is an optional service. The cost of this service is € 16 (per day). Please note: the beach service is active from 15/05 to 15/09.
All rooms are equipped with minibar with two bottles of water (free of charge). Do you want to restock your minibar with drinks and snacks? With 35€ you will have the complete supply for your moments of relaxation in the room.
The Full Board consists of:
• Light Lunch served at our Lounge Bar on the ground floor, a quick, light and tasty lunch that meets the needs of everyone;
• Dinner à la carte served at the table in our restaurant "Il Saporoso" until 10 pm.

Each guest will have an individual daily voucher of:
• € 10.00 for lunch: you can consume up to € 10.00 for each lunch by choosing from our menu of Light Lunch, including soft drinks.
The limit of euro 10.00 daily is not to be considered fixed: if the first day you use for example euro 8.00 in total, the rest can be recovered the next day consuming up to euro 12.00.
They will be charged, and then paid separately: a surplus that will be calculated by us at the end of stay and all alcoholic drinks.

• € 30.00 for dinner: you can enjoy up to 30.00 euros for each dinner by choosing the dishes you prefer from our à la carte menu, including soft drinks.
The limit of euro 30.00 daily is not to be considered fixed: if the first day you use for example euro 20.00 in total, the rest can be recovered the next day consuming up to euro 40.00.

N.B: In case of Half Board the formula is always that of Breakfast + Dinner. These types of vouchers are not transferable and are not refundable. They are included within the total amount of stay that you were able to view.
We do not have an internal laundry service. We are however available to contact an external laundry if you need it. Ask the reception. The laundry service is paid separately.
This service is included in some rooms. For other types of accommodation, towels are charged (cost € 5.00). If you want to change the dirty towels, at the reception we will deliver you clean towels at a cost of € 5.00 each.
Yes, you can connect with our Wi-Fi throughout the hotel. At check-in you will be provided with the password to access our Wi-Fi.
We accept payments by cash, cheque, and all major credit cards (Visa, Visa Electron, Mastercard) and EFTPOS.
For online bookings made on our website, we require a credit card number and expiry date, only as a guarantee. No amounts will be charged until the day of departure, except in the case of no-shows or early departures without justified reason. We reserve the right to check the validity of your credit card. In case of errors, missing or invalid data, the booking will not be valid. Alternatively, we require a 30% deposit to be paid by money order or bank transfer.
If the booking was made online from our website, you will receive a confirmation email with details of your booking as soon as the process is concluded. If the booking is confirmed by way of a bank transfer or money order, we will send you a confirmation email only once the deposit has been effectively received.
You can cancel your reservation at any time without penalty until 2pm on the third day before the date of arrival, notifying us either via fax or email; we will offer you the option to recover your deposit by booking another stay, even if shorter, to be used by the end of the current year. In case of late cancellation or no-shows, the deposit will be withheld.
We admit, we are not a Family Hotel, but we try to come in against everyone, with a Baby Kit including services designed for the little ones. Our baby area can be accessed freely, every day, by mothers with children who wnat to use the material or heat the food brought from home.
Rent your bike for only 3.00 euro per day. We also provide electric bikes for a fee at a cost of 50.00 euro per bike ( daily rental) or 25 euro for 4 hours for your excursions. Having a limited number of bicycles, booking is recommended. In case of negligence on the part of the guest, we will be forced to retain the cost of any damage.
A cool cocktail at sunset, a tasty aperitif with a breathtaking view: the Settimo Sunset Bar is the one for you.
The lift opens the doors in front of a priceless view of the city of Chioggia and the beach of Sottomarina and introduces you to a special place where you can spend a few hours chatting, good music and sparkling cocktails.
The Settimo Sunset Bar is also open to non-residents in the hotel seasonally. Access can be denied in case of high turnout or private events and in case of bad weather.
